Competition News
The Oak competition played last weekend attracted players from all over The Midlands to play in this very prestigious Midland Order of Merit Event. In very tough wet and windy conditions, players competed off the Tiger tees over 36 holes with the winner shooting two fantastic scores of 73 and 75, finishing on 148 was J Carney from Shirley.
The best placed Kings Norton player was Jake Larden who finished in joint third place on 151, well done Jake!

Our Ladies Open 4 ball better ball held last week had 124 entries from over 24 different clubs. The ladies were very lucky with the weather, with only the last few groups getting caught out in the rain.
Congratulations to Sue Hunt and Hayley Noel who came in with 38 points winning The Dutton Trophy for the best Kings Norton pair.
Other Kings Norton pairs in the prizes were Jill Jones and Jill Dawson from Redditch who finished on 3rd with 36 points. Lorraine Day and her partner Anne Worsley from Robin Hood who finished 4th with 35 points.

Thank you for all of those who attended our Cleveland Demo Day last Tuesday, we at last had a day without rain and many of you were able to try out the clubs. For any of you who were unable to make the day, we have an extensive range of demo clubs available in the shop to try out.

New Junior Academy Coaching Courses are Starting Saturday 23rd June
Whether you are a member or non-member, or a beginner or intermediate, there is something for everyone. The courses run for 8 weeks and are a great way to improve different areas of the game as well as make new friends. All the equipment is provided. For more information or to book your place, please see Laura in the Pro Shop. The last 8-week course completed last Saturday, well done to all those who received their certificates.
