The Gordon Ball Cup took place on Tuesday, which was very well supported with over 120 players taking part. Although the course was playing long the weather was very kind to us staying dry all day. Congratulations must go to the winner Maurice Johnson with a fantastic 40 points, a great score in such conditions. Runner up was Peter Eardley on 39 and 3rd was Bob Robinson on 37 pioints.
Following are some re-arranged dates due to the heavy rain we have been having. The Queen Victoria Bowl will now be played on Saturday 8th September. The Coronation Cup will be played on Saturday 22nd September.
Thank you to everyone who has had a go in our Open Sweep, we have now done the draw and you can call at the shop to see which player you need to cheer on. We are holding a Members Junior Texas Scramble on Sunday 5th August at 3.30 pm. This is open to all junior members and is a great opportunity to play with one of the Professionals as well as playing in a fun competition with other junior members.
