The mixed Open 4BBB held last bank holiday Monday had a great turnout with over 110 players competing from clubs all over the Midlands. Well done to the winning pair, Joshua Harvey and Elizabeth Mallett from Aston Wood and Sutton Coldfield, with a score of 41 points. Congratulations to Mary Moore and Brian Smith, who won The Mary Robins Rose Bowl, which is for the best Kings Norton pair and finished in second place overall with a score of 40 points. The next best placed Kings Norton pair was Margo and Dave Solomon on 40 points, finishing in fourth spot. Thanks must go to Vicky Turner and Anne Preece for all their help on the day.
Well done to Ollie Birchill who won the division 1 & 2 medal at the weekend with a great nett score of 67 off a handicap of 5. It was even better as he kept his Dad Mark from winning the medal by one shot. Well done Ollie! |

Our junior team played at home last Sunday in very wet and windy conditions against Gaudet Luce, drawing 2-2. This was a good result as Gaudet are a tough side to beat. Our team is currently lying second place in the league with three matches to play. Good luck in your next game at home against North Worcester next weekend.
Ladies Group Coaching
