Competition News
The first Open competition of the Season took place last Wednesday, and despite the predictable horrendous weather in the afternoon with heavy rain threatening to shut the Course, The Seniors Open was completed successfully with 129 competitors from over 40 different Clubs , from as far a field as Liverpool competing. The winner was a Mr. J Evans from Hagley from Division 2 (Handicaps 17 –24) with 39 points and the runner up and Winner of Division One was our own Vice Captain, Alan Cowin with a commendable 38 points having played in the worst of the conditions. Congratulations to all winners and especially to the other 7 Kings Norton members who featured in the prizes. Click here to see a full list of the results.

Ladies Fitting Offer
Too many Ladies miss out on the benefits of Fitting. That, I suspect, is the Golf Industries fault, as we don’t show enough examples of the benefits delivered to Lady golfers. We concentrate on the men and often the very good golfers. Well whether you are an inexperienced Lady golfer, a regular who would benefit from more consistency and some added distance, or a good Lady golfer, fitted Metalwoods and / or Irons will add to your enjoyment, as well as improving your results.
To encourage you to get “fitted” I am offering a FREE Fitting and a FREE Lesson when you buy a set of PING Irons in May. The Assessment and Fitting will be real fun, and you will be amazed at how much more comfortable an Iron that matches your specification is.

Then, when your new clubs arrive, I’ll also give you a free lesson to see if there are quick changes we can make that will add more improvement.
